Girls flag football is coming to the Capital Region next month, and registration is now open.

Under the Lights, a football program sponsored by Under Armor, will have two all-girls divisions for grades 3 through 8.

The goal is to create an all-female league to give girls the chance to show their skills and have fun, leaders said.

The season kicks off next month.

Registration is $195 and closes April 27.
