The South Colonie Central School District held a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday for its new athletic turf field complex.

The new field will offer enhanced safety, increased playing times and more opportunities for multiuse and outdoor activities. 

This is one part of a $120 million project voters approved in October 2022. Other parts include improvements to instructional spaces and safety upgrades.
