Amsterdam woman killed in rollover crash in Catskill

A 66-year-old Amsterdam woman has died after a rollover crash in Catskill last week.

State Police responded to the Thruway between Exit 20 and Exit 21 on Friday at around 6:40 p.m.

An investigation found a 2004 Ford Escape, driven by Regina Levine, was traveling north in the passing lane. Levine exited the roadway, went through a guiderail, struck an embankment and overturned, police said.

Levine was the only person inside. She was taken to Albany Medical Center, where she died on Monday.

The crash is under investigation.
