Names released in Kinderhook crash that injured seven people
State Police have released more information about a crash on Route 9 in Kinderhook that injured seven people.
The crash happened around 6:10 a.m., Tuesday, they said.
Kyle Bleau, 28, of Valatie, was traveling south on Route 9. A 2004 Honda Accord driven by Bronx resident Mia Washington, 18, exited a parking lot and made a left turn in front of the Silverado, causing a collision, police said.
Washington was removed from her vehicle by Niverville Fire Department and airlifted to Albany Medical Center with serious but what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Her passengers, who are Bronx residents ages 15 to 21, were taken by ambulance to Albany Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
Bleau was taken by ambulance to Columbia Memorial Hospital for injuries that also were not life-threatening.
The roadway was open just after 10 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing.
