One killed, one injured after tree falls onto motorcycle

One person was killed and one severely injured after a tree fell on the motorcycle they were riding in Warren County.  

The incident took place at around 4 p.m. Tuesday on North Gore Road in North Creek. The tree fell on the motorcycle, ejecting both the driver and passenger, State Police said.

The passenger, 68-year-old Chestertown resident Kathy L. Barlow-McCann, died in the crash. The driver was taken to Albany Medical Center, where they are in critical condition. The name is not being released.

The investigation is ongoing.
