A month-long detail by two state agencies got unsafe trucks off the road.

Environmental Conservation Officers from Fulton and Saratoga counties teamed up with Department of Transportation inspectors. They conducted heavy-duty diesel truck details.

Officers issued 77 tickets over the month of April, with several vehicles taken out of service.

Violations ranged from oil leaks to equipment safety violations and drivers operating uninspected and unregistered vehicles and trailers.
