Amsterdam woman charged with welfare fraud
An Amsterdam woman is accused of welfare fraud.
Deborah Farley-Parillo, 65, allegedly did not report her marital status and all income earned in her household on two applications for food assistance benefits, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deborah Farley-Parillo, 65, allegedly did not report her marital status and all income earned in her household on two applications for food assistance benefits, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said.
Farley-Parillo was charged with one count of welfare fraud and two counts of offering a false instrument for filing. She was arraigned in Amsterdam City Court and released on her own recognizance. She is due back in court at a later date.
