Glens Falls man accused of welfare fraud
A Glens Falls man is accused of welfare fraud.
James Dudley, 33, allegedly didn’t report all income that he and another person in the household earned, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office said.
This happened from October 2021 to September 2022. Dudley obtained $5,721 in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits that he was not entitled to, police said.
Dudley was charged with grand larceny, welfare fraud and offering a false instrument for filing. He was arraigned in Queensbury Town Court and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
