Two people charged in burglary of Duanesburg barn
State Police have arrested two people in connection with a Duanesburg burglary.
Jonathan Mickles, 39, of Schoharie, entered a barn on the property without permission on May 9, stole items and fled in a pickup truck, police said. Mickles then left the scene.
Nicole Ondrek, 37, of West Fulton, was a passenger in the vehicle, police said.
The two were located a short time later in the area of Edison Avenue in Schenectady with the stolen property, police said.
Mickles and Ondrek were both charged with third-degree burglary, Ondrek was also charged with criminal possession of stolen property. Mickles was arraigned in Duanesburg Town Court and sent to Schenectady County Jail without bail. Ondrek was released on an appearance ticket and released. She is due in Schenectady City Court on May 23.
