Ballston Spa woman gets time served in stabbing

A Ballston Spa woman was sentenced Wednesday to time served for stabbing a person in January. 

Catherine A. Christopher, 47, stabbed the victim, who she knew, multiple times in the stomach. It happened back on January 9.

Christopher pleaded guilty in March to second-degree assault.

She was sentenced to 90 days in jail, which she had already served. She also was placed on five years of probation.
