A Schenectady man is facing federal charges, accused of crossing state lines, planning to have sex with a minor.
Peter Nealon was indicted by a federal grand jury in New Orleans.
The indictment accuses Nealon of flying to New Orleans to have sex with someone who he believed was a 15-year-old girl.
Nealon faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted, along with a hefty fine of around $250,000. He may also be required to register as a sex offender.
