Police to step up DWI patrols during Memorial Day weekend

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office is among the agencies participating in a Stop DWI campaign during the Memorial Day weekend.

The enforcement detail will begin on Friday and continue through Monday. Additional police will be out to reduce the number of impaired driving-related injuries and deaths. 

“There is no excuse for getting behind the wheel of a motor vehicle intoxicated or high,” said Sheriff Michael Zurlo in a statement. “Make a plan now – don’t wait until you’re faced with a potentially life-altering decision.”
