Fire forces 12 people from Schenectady home

Twelve people were chased from their home after a fire Friday morning on Emmett Street in Schenectady.

The Red Cross helping with shelter, food and clothing to three families who lived in the home, including five adults and seven children ranging in age from 1 to 15.

There was no information on a cause.
