Police: Man had over 14 pounds of cannabis during Amsterdam traffic stop
State Police arrested a Seneca Falls man for allegedly possessing over 14 pounds of cannabis.
Michael W. Gladis, 38, was spotted by a trooper violating a traffic law on the Thruway in Amsterdam on May 22 around noon. He was stopped on Route 30 after leaving the highway.

Michael W. Gladis, 38, was spotted by a trooper on the Thruway in Amsterdam on May 22 around noon. He was violating a traffic law, the trooper said. Gladis was stopped on Route 30 after leaving the highway.
The trooper also found more than three pounds of concentrated cannabis oil, numerous cartridges containing concentrated cannabis oil and large amount of cash, police said.
Gladis was charged with two counts of possession of cannabis, two counts of criminal sale of cannabis and a traffic violation.
He was arraigned in Amsterdam City Court and sent to Montgomery County Jail without bail.
