Interviews ongoing over alleged inappropriate contact at Rensselaer schools

13Investigates continues to follow the incident allegedly involving physical contact between a female student and a male employee at Rensselaer High School.

NewsChannel 13’s Tessa Bentulan has kept in close contact with Rensselaer Police. They are conducting interviews and hope to have the investigation complete soon, they said.

Rensselaer Superintendent of Schools Joseph Kardash sent a message to parents and guardians confirming they received a complaint from a student that included allegations about one of their staff members.

Due to the nature of the allegations and the ongoing investigation, the confidentiality of all involved is critical, the superintendent said.
