Albany man accused of having crack cocaine

An Albany man is facing felony drug charges after a traffic stop.

Parrish A. Butler, 31, was stopped by police in the area of Central Avenue and Robin Street for a traffic violation on Tuesday just after 11 a.m.

Butler allegedly had a half-ounce of crack cocaine. He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of criminally using drug paraphernalia and one count obstructing governmental administration.

He was arraigned in Albany City Court and released on his own recognizance.
