Pittsfield man dies after car hits mobility scooter
A deadly crash is under investigation in Pittsfield.
The crash happened around 7 p.m. Tuesday on Second Street at Wallace Place.
The driver was turning right onto Second Street, when he hit a 72-year-old man who was riding a mobility scooter, investigators said.
The man, David Frye, 72, later died at the hospital.
The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
