Greene County man admits to having child pornography

A 26-year-old Greene County man has pleaded guilty to having child pornography, including images of toddlers and infants being sexually abused.

Drew Caswell, 26, of Cairo, admitted in federal court that he used a file-hosting service to download pornography and distribute multiple image and video files on Twitter (now known as X).

He also told the court that on Aug. 7, 2023, he had child pornography on his cell phone, including 300 images and videos of children being abused, prosecutors said.

Caswell will be sentenced on Sept. 24. He faces a term of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
