Saratoga County Sheriff's Office warns of scam in which people are accused of calling people asking them to call the sheriff's office and now giving them the actual number.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a new scam.
They said that someone got a phone call telling them to call a number. When that number is called, an automated message tells the caller that it is the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office and offers several voice prompts to choose from.
If you get this message, do not call the number.
