Woman accused of stealing over $50,000 from apartment complex

A woman is accused of stealing over $50,000 from the apartment complex where she worked.
Jacqueline Shafer, 47, allegedly stole the money from August 2021 through April 2022, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Shafer is also accused of making a false written statement.
She was charged with grand larceny and forgery, arraigned in Malta Town Court and released to pretrial services.
