Investigators: Charlton painter didn’t report $825,000 in earnings, evaded taxes
A Saratoga County painter admitted Friday he evaded taxes on $825,719.56 of his earnings. That amounts to around $219,706.
Bruce Bochette, 67, put money from clients into his personal account, and never told the IRS.
This happened from 2017 to 2021, according to investigators.
Bochette now faces up to 5 years in prison, 3 years of supervised release and a possible $100,000 fine when sentenced Oct. 4.
