Travis Kaczowski, 51, is now facing charges in the May 30 crash.
Cameron Connally, 27, was hit near Loop Road and Main Road. He was pronounced dead at a hospital

Kaczowski cut off Connally by turning in front of his motorcycle, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle reported.

He also had his 4-year-old son in the car at the time.

State Police in Massachusetts responded to the crash and said Kaczowski smelled of alcohol and had glossy eyes and slurred speech.

Kaczowski told police he saw the motorcycle coming but thought he had enough time to turn.

He has pleaded not guilty to negligent motor vehicle homicide, and is due back in court on August 9.

Meanwhile, a memorial motorcycle ride in Connolly’s honor was held last week.

He was a Taconic High School graduate who loved fishing, hunting and time with family, according to his obituary.
