Troy man accused of having guns, drugs
A Troy man is accused of possessing guns and drugs.
Police searched a residence on 2nd Street near Madison Street in South Troy on Tuesday. Officers also stopped a vehicle nearby.
The driver of that vehicle, Nashier N. Clayton, had two illegal guns and cocaine, heroin and fentanyl, Troy Police said.
Clayton, 26, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a narcotic drug. He was arraigned in Troy City Court and sent to Rensselaer County Jail.
