A Cohoes man has been arrested in a string of vandalism that included allegedly breaking a firetruck windshield with a rock.

Michael Cooper, 33, allegedly threw a rock at a truck outside Central Station, causing over $1,500 in damage, Cohoes Police said.

Cooper was charged with criminal mischief. He was arraigned in Cohoes City Court and sent to Albany County Jail. He is due back in court on July 16.

Cooper is also accused of five other vandalism crimes, said police, and more charges are pending.
