Lake George’s Million Dollar Beach closed over E. coli concerns
Lake George Beach closing due to E.coli found in the water. It will reopen when testing levels show improved water quality.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation says this is because of E. coli found in the water.
The recent heavy rain caused the elevated levels of bacteria, according to the DEC.
The beach will remain closed to everyone until testing results show the water quality has improved.
