Police: Howes Cave man threatened person with gun
A Howes Cave man is accused of threatening a person with a gun.
Manuel N. Tosado, 28, allegedly displayed the weapon during a dispute on July 17 around 10:15 p.m. The victim left the scene and called 911. Tosado was arrested at the home.
Police later learned Tosado had the gun illegally, they said. A search during the investigation found long guns and multiple illegal high-capacity magazines.
Tosado was charged with five counts of criminal possession of a weapon. He was also charged with menacing and harassment. He was sent to Schoharie County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.
