A man facing charges in different Capital Region communities pleaded to grand larceny on Tuesday.

Dakota Smith took more than $70,000 for a contracting job, and never did the work, investigators in Greene County said.

This happened back in July of last year.

Sentencing is set for October 8.

Smith faces similar charges in Albany and Saratoga counties, investigators said.
