Attempted child luring under investigation in Scotia

Scotia police are investigating an attempted child luring.
A girl tells police she was walking to school Thursday, when a man in a white pick-up truck asked if she wanted a ride.
The girl got to school safely and later told police what happened.
The suspect is described as a heavy set white man with white hair, a medium-length, bushy beard and a sage green T-shirt.
The girl says the man’s truck had junk in it, and a foul odor.
