North Adams repair crews fixing water main break

Crews in North Adams are working to repair a water main break.

A 10-inch line on Main Street broke around 8 a.m. Saturday, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle reported. This left many residents with low water pressure or none at all.

Water was also seen flowing down Main Street. This forced the North Adams Farmers Market to move to the city hall parking lot.

Mayor Jennifer Macksey hoped the break would be repaired Saturday afternoon, she said.
