Girl Scouts donating 30,000 boxes of cookies to hometown heroes

Girl Scouts in the Capital Region are spreading the love to our hometown heroes by sending cookies to active military personnel.
The girl scouts of Northeastern New York is donating more than 30,000 boxes of cookies to the Red Cross, active military and veterans.
This year, the local Red Cross is picking up and distributing 1,500 cases of cookies.
