As NewsChannel 13 previously reported, current commissioner Jason Golub is resigning to take a job with the State Department of Corrections.
Golub, who became the first Black person to serve on the Saratoga Springs City Council in 2022, has been named general counsel and deputy commissioner of the Department of Corrections.
He said he will stay with the city until August 19. Interested parties can email the mayor’s office if they are interested in applying.
