Cohoes leaders to meet in wake of large fight

The Cohoes Common Council is holding a special meeting Monday night in the wake of a large fight outside a funeral home last Tuesday.

The fight happened near Columbia and Main streets, while a wake was going on inside. Police said the fight was between people who live in the area and those at the wake. Seven people were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. They range in age from 16 to 50.

There were no injuries.

The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. in council chambers.
