‘Black Lives Matter’ sign repainted on Lark Street in Albany
ALBANY – Supporters of Black Lives Matter made their point on Lark Street.
They painted "Black Lives Matter" last summer in big letters using bright yellow paint.
The paint faded over time. The letters were repainted on Thursday morning.
This massive piece of art is the work of a group called In Our Own Voices. Lark Street is closed from Lancaster Street to Hudson Avenue for the painting.
It will reopen on Sunday night at 8 p.m.
