The Town of Guilderland is getting money to help upgrade its parks and buy new highway equipment.

$375,000 will be used to help make improvements to DiCaprio Park and Fort Hunter Park.

It will also pay for a new mini-excavator and other equipment for the town’s highway department.

Assemblyman Phil Steck will award this grant to the town at an event Monday morning.
