Chief accused of unlawful imprisonment due in court next month
The Washington County police chief accused of holding a woman against her will is scheduled to return to court next month.
Cambridge-Greenwich Police Chief Robert Danko is facing charges of unlawful imprisonment and harassment in connection to a fight in June with a woman he knows. Danko is on paid leave.
Danko was set to appear in Salem Town Court on Monday, Aug. 19, but the hearing was rescheduled for Sept. 16.
NewsChannel 13 previously reported that Danko did not show up for an extreme risk protection order hearing. Because of that, the court automatically issued an order prohibiting him from owning guns.
