Man, 25, shot in Albany

Albany Police are investigating a daytime shooting on Wednesday.

Officers responded to the 300 block of Washington Avenue around 9:50 a.m. They found evidence of gunfire.

A couple minutes later, police found a 25-year-old man in the area of Central Avenue and Henry Johnson Boulevard with gunshot wounds to his leg and hand, police said.

The victim was treated and taken to Albany Medical Center, where he is in stable condition.
