A candlelight vigil is being held on Friday night for the late civil rights leader Dr. Alice Green.

The founder of the Center for Law and Justice in Albany died of a heart attack on Tuesday at the age 84.

The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. A procession will start at the center and end at the Alice Moore Black Arts and Culture Center.

All are welcome to attend to honor Dr. Green’s legacy.
