Man drowns in Lake George

Police have recovered the body of a man who drowned in Lake George.

It happened in the northern part of the lake, northeast of Silver Bay between Hague and Putnam.

Authorities tell NewsChannel 13 that the call came in for a man in his 20s who was swimming off of a boat and didn’t surface.

The Warren County Sheriff’s dive team recovered his body just before 5 p.m.
