Golf tournament raises $180K to help fight Parkinson’s
The sixth annual Stand Up to Parkinson's Golf Tournament in Voorheesville raised around $180,000.
The sixth annual Stand Up to Parkinson’s Golf Tournament in Voorheesville raised around $180,000.
The event raised nearly $20,000 in its first year, and it got up to around $155,000 last year.
It took place at the Colonie Golf and Country Club.
A group of 167 players teed up.
There was a banquet after the tournament and auction of sports memorabilia.
All the money raised supports people living with Parkinson’s and funds research into a cure for the disease.
