Two area barbers have partnered to create a new business called Ballston Spa Barber Club.

The barber shop on Route 50 is owned and operated by Raffaele Rispo and Gilberto Barron-Nunez.

“Gil and I have been barbering for a long time together, for about two and a half years straight. We’ve known each other for a very long time, and it was time to take the next step in our journey,” Rispo said.
Besides filling a need in the community, the owners aim to create lasting relationships with their customers. 

Haircut appointments can be made online, or walk-ins are welcome.

With back-to-school season in full swing, the barbershop welcomes clients of all ages.

“And to see the kids just light up. you put the final touch on with the gel or whatever they want, that is really gratifying to know that you have made a kid’s day,” Rispo said.
