Four Capital Region communities to get $50K recreational grants
Four towns in the Capital Region are each receiving $50,000 for recreational improvements.

The grants will be awarded to the towns of Schodack, Bethlehem, Kinderhook, and Schaghticoke.
Schodack will build new pickleball courts.
Bethlehem will renovate its old tennis courts.
Kinderhook will build new basketball courts and enhance the playground at volunteer park.
Schaghticoke’s American Legion Post 731 will undergo renovations.
