Police warn of traffic delays and closures in Saratoga Springs for Pitbull concert

The New York State Park Police have released a traffic advisory ahead of Pitbull’s concert on Sunday night at SPAC.
They say to expect closures and delays on the roads on Sunday.
Police note a few road closures ahead of Sunday’s concert:
- Southbound Route 50, left turn lane to eastbound Avenue of the Pines CLOSED at approximately 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Eastbound Avenue of the Pines from Route 50 CLOSED at the end of the show
- Eastbound East West Road from Route 50 CLOSED at the end of the show
They urge all concert-goers to plan ahead, carpool, arrive early to SPAC, and use alternative modes of transportation.
Police say historically, the intersection at Avenue of the Pines, Route 50, and Geyser Road is a heavy congestion area and results in long traffic delays, so they ask concert-goers to arrive early, arrive from the south, and also to have your payment ready in advance for parking.
