Schenectady man arrested for burglary at Home Depot, officials say
Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office say they arrested Tyler J. Marley, 31, of Schenectady for burglary and criminal possession of a controlled substance while trespassing at Home Depot in Halfmoon Crossing on September 4.
Authorities responded to a trespassing call at the store in Halfmoon on 8:28 p.m., which after investigation, led to Marley’s arrest.
He is accused of entering and remaining unlawfully in the Home Depot with the intent to commit a crime, and he was allegedly informed before this incident that he was not authorized to be on the premises, said officials.
The Sheriff’s Office says he is also charged with knowingly and unlawfully possessing a controlled substance.
Marley was charged with third-degree burglary and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was arraigned on the charges listed above, in addition to a warrant for second-degree bail jumping, at Halfmoon Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further action in the matter.
