Walcott man arrested in burglary at Cumberland Farms in Glens Falls
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested Chadd J. Zerniak, 34, of Walcott in burglary at the Cumberland Farms on Main Street in South Glens Falls early Sunday morning.
The Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at 3:14 a.m.
They say Zerniak is accused of knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully within a building with the intent to commit a crime inside the store.
Authorities say he is also accused of intentionally damaging property of another person.
Through investigation, Zerniak was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief, said the Sheriff’s Office.
Zerniak was arraigned in Moreau Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further action in the matter.
