Mahogany Gause, 19, of Albany is charged with assault, unlawful possession of noxious material and disorderly conduct – causing a hazardous condition.
Gause was in a fight before the spray was released, police said.
She was released on an appearance ticket and is due in Guilderland Town Court at a later date.
