Husband, wife dead in Perth murder-suicide

A husband and wife are dead in what police said was a murder-suicide in Fulton County.

State Police responded to Voorhees Road in the town of Perth just before 8:30 a.m. Tuesday for a report of shots fired. Troopers found the bodies of Guy E. Lawrence, 75, and Barbara J. Lawrence, 76, in the backyard.

A handgun was found near the Mr. Lawrence’s body, police said.

State Police are investigating.
