Schenectady’s fire training facility has been upgraded thanks to a $250,000 State and Municipal Facilities Grant.

Assemblymember Phil Steck will host a press conference Wednesday, showing off the upgrades that he secured for the department two years ago.

The funding provides critical improvements to the facility, enhancing the capabilities of firefighters by preparing them to respond to a wide range of emergencies.
