A Lenox High School student has been officially charged for allegedly making a threat to the school in Berkshire County, according to NewsChannel 13’s news partners at The Berkshire Eagle.

That student is now facing a misdemeanor charge. Police say the student posted a threatening Snapchat message about a “school shooting,” on Sept. 9, which was flagged by the FBI. Officers removed that student from campus and didn’t find any weapon.

The school suspended the student, and now the superintendent says they will remain out of school for the foreseeable future.
