Russell Sage College and Albany Medical Center are teaming up to keep more nurses in the Capital Region.

Starting with this graduating class, a new grant will offer nursing grads the opportunity to apply for up to $9,000 if they stay in the region to work at acute care hospitals.

Those are hospitals which treat injuries, emergency needs and rehabilitation after surgery.

Students can use their grant money for any purpose.
