Macy’s and UPS expected to hire tens of thousands of seasonal employees for the holidays
Macy’s plans to hire more than 31,000 full and part-time employees for the holidays.
Retailers are expected to hire fewer people this year.
This is due to a softer labor market and with consumers tightening their belts heading into the shopping period.
Meanwhile, UPS says it will hire 125,000 seasonal workers for the holidays.
